Cramulão and his spirit shine again in prime time on with Renascer TV

The Cramulhão that so captivated and enchanted Pantanal audiences in 2022 is back on Globo's 9 p.m. broadcast. Now the devil will practically be the secret of José Inocêncio's (Humberto Carrão/Marcos Palmeira) success, and the little colonel will explore the curiosity of all the characters around the egg of the evil thing that he hatched until the demonic creature was born in one Bottle got stuck.

The mystical universe is part of the rural saga of Benedito Ruy Barbosa, first broadcast in 1993. The remake will retain parts of the popular fantasy, among other beliefs, but will add a priest to the story and turn some characters into evangelicals so that Christian viewers won't reject the plot, which features a saint's mother and a priest.

Inácia (Edvana Carvalho) will announce that the protagonist will be protected by supernatural forces as soon as she sees him, who is more dead than alive in the first chapter that will be broadcast this Monday (22). Every now and then she will say that the spirits are telling her something, but she will not come into conflict with those who belong to other religions.

She will welcome José Inocêncio after he is stripped of his skin by a cowardly attack by Colonel Firmino's (Enrique Diaz) henchmen, who leave him bleeding and hanging from a tree to die, as if it were a banquet for all kinds of animals.

This story becomes legend in the second phase of the plot and is repeated many times before the eyes of the staring characters. Another story that will spread from word of mouth will be the justification for all the success that the little colonel will achieve in such an adverse scenario and in such a short time.

If he takes over a widow's land, all the cocoa producers in southern Bahia will be bankrupt due to a pest that will devastate the plantations, the witch's broom.

To top it all off, José Inocêncio will escape many ambushes. Your saint, your guardian devil, will then quickly become famous. Many will say that he has a pact with the dog and his body is closed by the devil. But in his house there will also be an altar in the corner of the room with an image of Our Lady, his holy godmother.

There will be an eternal doubt as to which creature actually paved the way to José Inocêncio's fortune, and most will believe the explanation that he rode a black goat with red eyes and flew over his fields while the supernatural animal descended on each Field pissed cocoa tree, which then blossomed and each blossom became fruit.

To give even more space to the imagination, José Inocêncio will feed the stories. “It is true. I make a little cramulhão at home… In fact, it and my machete were the only things I brought with me when I came here,” reveals José Inocêncio in scenes from the plot.

The new version of Renascer was adapted by Bruno Luperi, the grandson of Ruy Barbosa, who also updated Pantanal for Globo two years ago. The remake premieres this Monday, with a special chapter that will be about an hour and a half long.
