Daytime Emmy Awards: 'General Hospital' Wins Outstanding Drama – Complete Winners List – Closing Date

General Hospital won the award for outstanding drama, while Kelly Clarkson won best talk show host and best talk show at the 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, held in Los Angeles on Friday.

Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner hosted the show, which honored Susan Lucci with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Jennifer Nettles performed “Life is Sweet” for the “In Memoriam” segment, which said goodbye to artists like Jacklyn Zeman, Billy Miller and Bob Barker. And a posthumous Emmy went to Sonya Eddy, the General Hospital actress who died last summer at age 55.
