Isabella Recalcati and Manuel Marascio were guests this afternoon in a new episode of Verissimo, Silvia Toffanin’s living room.
The two protagonists of the latest edition of Temptation Island spoke about themselves to the audience of the Canale 5 program.
After they left the campfire together, Isabella explained that they had managed to overcome the critical issues and misunderstandings:
The critical points were mostly misunderstandings, because we have always loved each other very much, but a different type of communication often meant that we didn’t really take each other seriously. Misunderstandings that are difficult to reconcile.
Manuel confessed the moment they decided to take part in the temptation show:
We decided together a year ago on Valentine’s Day. We went out to eat and after an afternoon argument about the usual stories, the ad came up and we submitted the application.
Isabella and Manuel admitted that the experience in the village made them more mature:
Was it good for us to participate? Yes, our relationship has matured. Let’s say I saw his suffering, then I realized that he really suffered a lot from some things. Let’s say since we went out I’ve calmed down a bit, some things I tell him in a more peaceful way, other things I don’t tell him at all.
The young tram driver added:
Yes, I’ve been trying to be more confident since we’ve been together. Before, my problem was insecurity. Whatever I do for her, I do it anyway, I don’t do it because I want to satisfy her vice. But because I’m in love with this girl and I want her to be happy every day of her life. So I do everything I can.
Isa is also very much in love and is aware that she will hardly find another man like her boyfriend:
He is very close to my heart. I know I’ll never find someone like that again. I like everything about him. For me he is a boy with great abilities.
For Manuel it was love at first sight:
Love at first sight? Yes, for me yes. When I saw her I immediately said: “For me she is the most beautiful.” And since that day she has remained the most beautiful for me.
Isabella, on the other hand, wanted to introduce him to a friend!
We met in a club in Milan, but I actually wanted to introduce him to my boyfriend! At that time I experienced some disappointments, people I didn’t like. But in the end I kept it! And I didn’t regret it at all.
The couple had to go through a very difficult time. Under pressure from Toffanin, Isabella opened up a little and hinted that she had an abortion:
Something that happened. I had just graduated, I had had my final meeting a few days before, I wasn’t working, he wasn’t working, so it wasn’t really… a conscious decision, the only one that could have even been made at that moment. Before, we lived the relationship very carefree and didn’t think too much about the future. This has made us face the reality of life. However, many things cannot be implemented without a foundation.
After the episode aired, Recalcati wanted to clarify his words on the pages of Gossip and TV, explaining that he was not referring to abortion at all:
I have had health problems but would prefer to keep them confidential. Anyone who talks about abortion is wrong.
