Petra (Debora Ozório) becomes one of the main suspects for the death of Agatha (Eliane Giardini) in Terra e Paixão. Luigi (Rainer Cadete) will reveal details of the night of the crime and involve the girl in a game of billiards. He will say that he remembers her escaping from Antônio's (Tony Ramos) villa immediately after hearing the sound of gunfire.
In his eyes, the escape could only mean one thing: the girl shot her stepmother, killed her and ran away. The problem is that the narrative doesn't fit with the other aspects of the story. After all, Agatha wasn't just shot; She was also poisoned and pushed down a flight of stairs.
In any case, Rainer Cadete's character will want to talk to his exwife, who is on her side. He will introduce the topic in the next chapters of the nine o'clock soap opera. “I know you killed Agatha,” the Italian begins.
The youngest of the La Selva family will react with astonishment. “Where did you get that? Are you crazy?” she will ask. But the boy will ask the agronomist not to be afraid. “You don’t have to worry, I’ll never talk,” he’ll say.
Debora Ozório's character will continue to deny being involved in the murder, and Luigi will say that he saw her running away the night of the crime. The preppy girl will then confess that she was afraid of the sound of the shots and left the house.
But the imposter will raise another question: Didn't she think something might have happened to Antônio (Tony Ramos)? If so, she most likely would have gone to her father's room before running away.
Irene's daughter becomes more and more nervous and claims that she wasn't thinking clearly. She then throws the bomb on her husband's lap and asks him why he is at home since he told the police that he was at the cinema with Anely (Tatá Werneck).
The impostor will say that he stopped by the house to change, and of course he will also respond defensively: “You also told the police that you were in therapy at the time of Agatha's death, right?”
She admits, ashamed, that she made up the story. “I only lied to avoid getting in trouble with the police,” he will reply. Rainer Cadete's character will reiterate that he would never allow Petra to be arrested for the crime. She will thank you for your concern but insist she is innocent.
Terra e Paixão was written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes. The story takes place in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The story will remain on air until January 19 next year and will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
