Selection of Vatican City
The Vatican Football Federation was founded in 1972, but it wasn’t until 1994 that it played its first official game. It has both male and female teams, the same made up of workers and family members of the people who work at the Vatican. Both representatives only play a few international matches a year – mostly for non-profit purposes.

There are currently eight teams that make up the league tournament of the nation hosting the Vatican. All are made up of collaborators from different areas of the Holy See.
