Montreal police will set up a command post on Thursday to gather information about the disappearance of an octogenarian who has been missing since mid-December.
Félicien Laforce, 81, has been missing since mid-December 2022 and was last seen near the intersection of Chemin de Chambly and Boulevard Vauquelin in Longueuil.
A command post will be set up in Longueuil near the Longueuil-Saint-Hubert train station at the end of Rue Patrick at 8 a.m. on Thursday.
The aim is “to meet the population to gather new information,” said the Montreal City Police Department (SPVM) and the Longueuil Metropolitan Area (SPAL) in a joint statement.
“The investigators and investigators invite anyone who witnessed his disappearance to come on site and meet them.”
Recall that Félicien Laforce has white skin, is approximately 1.71 meters (5 ft, 7 in) tall, and weighs 77 kg (170 lbs). He has gray hair, blue eyes and speaks French. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a dark hat, a dark winter coat with a fur collar, dark trousers and black winter boots. He would get around on foot and by public transport. It was clarified that Mr Laforce appeared to be suffering from cognitive impairment.
