Doja Cat WINS Paris Fashion Week with four wild looks

Doja Cat officially won Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and it only took 30,000 Swarovski crystals, red body paint, a curly mustache and a crystal bra to seal her.

The singer, whose real name is Amalia Dlamin, 27, turned heads as she sported a series of wild looks that couldn’t exactly be worn to the supermarket.

Most striking was her Schiaparelli look, which she wore on Monday, which saw her covered in red body paint from head to toe.

30,000 red Swarovski crystals were meticulously applied to her body and the outfit – which took five hours to perfect – also consisted of a red satin corset, a luscious beaded skirt and knee-high boots.

Makeup artist Pat McGrath told Vogue, “Working with the incomparably talented Doja Cat and Daniel Roseberry has been an absolute pleasure.”

“Her patience and dedication as she sat with team Pat McGrath and I for four hours and 58 minutes to complete the creation, covered in over 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals, was truly inspiring.”

Schiaparelli was founded by Elsa Schiaparelli in 1927 – the fashion house is known for its surrealist creations and this year’s show was inspired by Dante.

However, the runway show caused controversy when animal heads worn on dresses were mistaken for taxidermy.

On Wednesday, Doja channeled Salt Bae vibes as she attended the Viktor And Rolf show sporting a fake curly mustache and eyebrows.

The look was actually a nod to one half of the brand’s designer, Viktor Horsting.

She continued the masculine look with a dramatic beige pinstripe suit, complete with a green and white ruffled shirt – ruffles are synonymous with the brand’s aesthetic.

It’s been a busy day for Doja, who recently shaved her head but wore a very long and sleek black wig to attend a Valentino photocall.
