In an attempt to catch a Japanese macaque that escaped from a wildlife park in Scotland, those responsible had to use drones with thermal imaging cameras, but without success.
The animal, also known as the snow monkey, left its enclosure in the middle of the forest in the Highland Wildlife Park in the Cairngorms National Park on Sunday morning.
The Royal Zoological Society, which stated that this male macaque was harmless, nevertheless advised against approaching him, Belgian media 7Sur7 reported.

“Our guard team will patrol the area and use various techniques to coax him,” park officials said on their Facebook page Tuesday.
Keith Gilchrist, one of the zoo's managers, still hopes that the monkey will return to its enclosure on its own if it cannot find food on its own.
