Actor Dwayne Johnson, “The Rock,” made a “historic” contribution to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Screen Actors Guild of the USA, in support of those affected by the strike the interpreters have been maintaining since July 13.
Cyd Wilson, executive director of the organization dedicated to providing financial support to union members, told Variety that the “Black Adam” actor reached out to her to make “the largest donation” to the foundation anyone has ever made.
