[EN IMAGES] Bois-des-Filion: a house destroyed by fire

A house was ravaged by flames in Bois-des-Filion in the Laurentians on Sunday morning.

The fire broke out just after 6 a.m. in an apartment building on 29th Avenue. Since the fire was important, firefighters from Blainville, Sainte-Thérèse and Terrebonne took part in the operation.

“By the time firefighters first arrived, the fire had already devastated much of the single-story home,” Caserne Sainte-Thérèse said in a Facebook post.

The Lanaudière-Laurentides Auxiliary Fire Brigade Association was also called in to support the residents of the home as well as the firefighters on site.

The police came to secure the area and an investigator was supposed to go to the scene to determine the cause of this fire that completely destroyed the house.
