These are illustrations by artist Andy Riva and photographs by Mónica Hasenberg about the members of this group and the actions taken during the regime and after the restoration of democracy to demand justice for the more than 30,000 detainees who disappeared during that time are.

The works are exhibited in the auditorium of the archive together with documents on the club’s history.

After the 1976 coup, the forces of the established military regime set up 750 secret centers for detention, torture and extermination, and hundreds of children were kidnapped with their parents or born in captivity.

Secret maternity hospitals were operated and 500 children separated from their mothers at the former Navy School of Mechanics, Campo de Mayo, Pozo de Banfield and other facilities.

Some of them were given to military families, others were abandoned and sold.

To date, the grandmothers have found 132 of these little ones and are still searching for the remaining grandchildren and great-grandchildren who also suffered the aftermath of the horrors of the dictatorship.

In addition, they call for the punishment of those responsible for these crimes.
