Charlotte Cardin is annoyed by vocal problems and has just announced that she will have to skip the last five concerts of her European tour that were scheduled for this week.
The artist from Montreal had already canceled dates in Bordeaux and Toulouse from her travel plan last week due to the loss of her voice.
On Monday morning she informed ticket holders for church services in Liège, Lille, Caen, Rennes and La Roche-sur-Yon that she was unfortunately unable to fulfill her obligations for medical reasons.
“As you know,” she wrote on social media, “I completely lost my voice last Friday and although I rested all weekend, my body is slow to recover.” I'm sorry, I really feel like that I am letting you down and that makes me very sad.”
Charlotte Cardin stated that every effort would be made to announce new dates in destination cities and that viewers who request this would receive a refund.
Before she got sick, she had time to play at the legendary Olympia in Paris for the first time last Wednesday.
If she gets back into shape by then, the star is expected at the arena at TD Place in Ottawa next week and at Place Bell in Laval on four nights. These concerts are sold out.
According to his press spokesman in Montreal, there is currently no threat to concerts in Quebec.
