The model was 56 years old and died of breast cancer. She owed her popularity to Vogue
It was “Vogue” that brought the news of Tatjana Patitz’s disappearance. Raised in Sweden by an Estonian mother and a German father, Patitz did not choose New York, London or Paris as his base, but a ranch in California’s Santa Ynez Valley Peter Lindberg, her mentor from the start, photographed her with her son Jonah. Likewise herb ride he had them on his favorite subjects.
His last public picture taken by is with his son Jonah Tina Barney Late 2019. Speaking about her son last year, Patitz said he was her “fountain of happiness.”
By the turn of the ’80s and ’90s, Patitz had often landed on the pop world’s radar as the perfect music video star. Duran Duran wanted her in the clip of “skin trade‘ because Nick Kamen is the giant supermodel who portrayed him in the video for ‘tell me” and then competed alongside other tops, such as Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell, to “Freedom! 90‘ by George Michael. Duran Duran remembered her with an Instagram post from keyboardist Nick Rhodes. In cinema, however, she had appeared in Sol Levante, a thriller starring Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes based on a Michael Chricton bestseller, and then in Pret-à-Porter, Robert Altman’s film set in the world of fashion.
