Gone! Big Brother’s Farida became the first housemate to be evicted from the ITV revival series of the show on Friday
Tense: Farida faced expulsion from NHS manager Kerry, who broke down in tears as she anxiously waited for the news to be announced
Speaking to hosts AJ and Will immediately after her eviction, Farida said, “I’m great!” How many of you would like a week in this house? Well, I was there. It’s priceless!
“Kerry really, really wanted to be in there. She was in tears and desperately wanted to stay in there. “I was very happy to be outside.”
When she learned that Hallie, Jenkin, Paul, Tom, Henry, Kerry and Olivia had all been nominated for her eviction for various reasons based on their opinions and behavior in the house, she realized that their views didn’t matter to her played.
She insisted she was not “fake” as some claimed. She said, “That’s fine, they’ve known me for five or six days.” Her opinion doesn’t matter. I am very, very true to myself.
“I would never be wrong.” People who know me would say that.”
The TikTok star added that she “couldn’t understand” her housemate Kerry as she insisted her eviction candidate wouldn’t be the type of person she would socialize with outside the house.
She said: “I couldn’t understand Kerry’s tantrums.” She’s a 40-year-old grown woman and I tried to understand it today.
“She told me she’s a drama queen and probably not the type of person I would date in life because I have a life! ‘Another week in the house would be too much for me!’
Support: She hugged her housemates before quickly heading out to meet presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best
Chat: Farida was interviewed on the AJ and Will spin-off show Big Brother: Late & Live immediately after her eviction
At the beginning of the episode, the housemates each voted for who they wanted to nominate.
A major change to this series was that contestants were only allowed to vote for one person, changing a decades-long tradition when they had voted for two in previous series.
The residents of the show’s famous house were banned from voting for Olivia after she gained immunity after completing her secret mission in which she managed to convince her fellow housemates that she was the least entertaining of them all .
Chanelle was the first to enter the Diary Room and reveal who she had nominated.
Choosing Kerry, she said: “Kerry because there have been numerous occasions where she shoots people down… mainly towards Farida,” before adding: “I find it unpleasant.”
Hallie was next and chose Farida. She said: “She can be annoying at times and I feel like she hasn’t made the effort to get to know anyone.”
She added that Farida “talks about people, interrupts people” and “wants to be the leader of the house.”
Eviction: At the beginning of the episode, the housemates each voted for who they wanted to nominate
Harsh? Farida nominated Kerry: “She just likes a lot of gossip.” I hate people who gossip. She has little tantrums. She’s a grown woman who needs to pull herself together and deal with it.
Honestly, Kerry chose Farida and said, “She’s hard work.” I think she’s selfish and I think she’s being hard on me at the moment… I feel like she’s looking down on me quite a bit.
Henry chose Farida as the next nominee, explaining, “She wasn’t the easiest person.”
“I was talking to Zak on the bed and he asked about my experiences at boarding school.
“She talked over me and told Zak that I had learned classical music, which wasn’t the case.”
“I just found out that she has quite an opinion on something she has no perspective on.”
Matty was next to be nominated and chose Kerry. He said: “She can be quite loud and sometimes her voice just goes through me… she can be overwhelming in group situations and she can moan a lot.”
“It annoys me when people aren’t grateful.”
Trish chose Paul, explaining: “I don’t get much depth from him and I think we’ve had enough days to get to know people up close.” Deep conversations really excite me and I don’t think he’s up for that Location is.”
Zak chose Henry, saying, “I feel like he hasn’t really spoken to everyone in the house. “I feel like he just sticks to the people he’s most comfortable with.”
Yinrun nominated Kerry, saying: “I was very shy when I entered this house.” “I feel a little distant while trying to talk to her… It’s very hurtful when I feel like someone is “Not that interested in me.”
Unimpressed: Jordan chose Paul, saying: “I don’t really appreciate his humor.” I don’t appreciate all the jokes about bodily fluids at all.
It didn’t work out: Hallie was next and chose Farida. She said: “She can be annoying at times and I feel like she hasn’t made the effort to get to know anyone.”
Jordan chose Paul, saying, “I don’t really appreciate his humor.” “I don’t appreciate all the jokes about bodily fluids at all.”
Dylan chose Farida and exclaimed, “How can you be in the house with people for five days and not know their names… She asked me Chanelle’s name today, she called her Janine or something.” That she keeps calling me Dean… That’s impolite.”
Paul nominated Farida, saying: “She told me the reason she wanted to be on Big Brother was because she wanted to spread the message of Islam and I thought that was great, but later she gave other reasons.” I know not really where she stands.’
Olivia also chose Farida, saying, “The day she ate my salmon and my corn… she ate my corn and with the same spoon she ate my salmon. ‘It upset me.’
Noky chose Kerry, explaining: “She speaks negatively about other housemates – to their face or away from them. “She can be quite condescending towards Farida.”
Tom voted for Farida, saying, “Sometimes it feels like I’m being spoken to rather than having a conversation.”
Farida nominated Kerry, explaining: “She just likes a lot of gossip… I hate people who gossip. “She has little tantrums. She’s a grown woman who needs to get her shit together and deal with it.’
Jenkin chose Farida, saying, “With Farida, I feel like I’m being talked to, not with.” It’s a very one-sided conversation and I feel like I’m wasting my time. I feel like she has a hidden agenda.
Excitement: It comes after Big Brother announced that Farida, 50, (pictured) and Kerry, 40, would be the first housemates to face eviction after their housemates spoke out
Drama: And when Farida found out about her fate, she was furious at the news as she got into an argument with 23-year-old Olivia (pictured).
“When you talk about fame and money and what you can do outwardly, I think, ‘Is that all you’re here for?’
Kerry chose Farida and said: “She’s hard work.” I find her selfish and I think she’s hard to work with at the moment… I feel like she’s looking down on me quite a bit… That doesn’t make me happy inside .’
Big Brother announced that Farida and Kerry would be the first housemates to face eviction after their housemates spoke out.
When Farida learned of her fate, she was furious at the news as she clashed with Olivia.
Farida suspected that the two oldest roommates were at risk of eviction and was convinced that the younger roommates had ganged up.
She told Kerry: “All the younger ones stuck together and the older ones got them out.”
As Olivia overheard the conversation, she struggled to suppress laughter, which led to another heated argument between the two.
Elsewhere, Jenkin suspected Kerry wasn’t treating the news as coolly as she seemed, telling Big Brother: “I guess it’s brewing and the more Kerry says she doesn’t care, the more it will “Looking like she’s…what.” could be Farida’s undoing.’
“It’s like the battle of the titans, the two maternal figures, isn’t it?”
Farida told Kerry, 40, (pictured): “All the youngsters stuck together and the elders pulled them out.”
Kerry and Farida were announced to the public on Thursday’s episode of Big Brother: Late & Live as the first two revival housemates to face eviction.
However, fans of the show were disappointed by the news, with many predicting that there would be less drama if either of the two left the house.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘If Farida and Kerry are the only ones facing eviction, that will take away so much potential aggro from us.’
While a second wrote: “I didn’t want to believe they were going to evict two legendary housemates Farida and Kerry in the FIRST WEEK.”
Someone else shared: “If we lose Farida or Kerry tomorrow it will be a disaster because this tension that is brewing is giving me the life and I need to see them continue to potty train each other.”
End of the Road: After the housemates made their decisions, the public decided that Farida should be sent away along with Kerry after she was nominated
And someone else wrote: “Ughhhh why do I have to choose between Kerry and Farida when there are people like Dylan, Zak, Paul, Noky, Tom Henry and Matty.”
A fifth commented: “I can’t stand either of them but they provide great entertainment value and I really don’t want Farida or Kerry to shit.”
With a seventh sentence: “If it were up to me, both Kerry and Farida would stay!!!” I gagged as I watched their feud reach a boiling point, so many others deserved to go first. “
Big Brother continues on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Why did you apply to be a housemate on Big Brother? “I love the program. For me it is the ultimate reality TV show of all time. I suffer from multiple sclerosis and that’s why I’ve never applied because I always saw these huge stairs crashing into the house. It just felt a bit out of reach because I was in a wheelchair for the first three years of my illness. When I saw it come back and was looking for real people from all walks of life, I thought: This is my year.”
