Farruko Im a fan of adrenaline and speed

Farruko: “I’m a fan of adrenaline and speed”

The rediscovery of old interests in the process of reinvention was one of the experiences that the Puerto Rican artist Farruko has as part of his new view of life on a spiritual level. On a professional level, singing remains his greatest passion. But in the dynamic of exploring other facets, entrepreneurship is one aspect that includes.

One of these alternatives is the launch of his Carbon Armor Scooter motorcycle, which he presents as an expression of his love for speed and adrenaline.

“I have loved motorcycles since I was little. I grew up in an auto repair shop. My grandfather owned a gas station. “I see this world from a young age, but of course music has pushed me forward, it’s my first dream,” said the singer enthusiastically.

A total of 800 units of the vehicle, which is being launched on the market in a limited edition and in collaboration with the Maxuma brand, which specializes in motorcycles, were sold out through direct sales to wholesalers. However, it is available for direct sale through various retailers.

The artist shared part of the motivation to promote this product. “It's all based on the decision about the change that I made in my life because I probably haven't had the time to think about how I can diversify and take on an entrepreneurial role in something that I like because that takes time “You have to focus on each project and give it the same affection and love that you give to another,” he explained, analyzing that the work routine that he experienced a few years ago might make it difficult to realize this entrepreneurial ambition .

“It was only when this conversation took place with me that my career stopped for a certain time due to the excitement that the controversy and sensationalism generated and the return because I never said that I was going to retire, but that I just wanted to go into retirement. “To make a change in my life and to convey a different kind of message and content through my art and my music that is uplifting, to use my influence for good,” he continued, expressing his disappointment. “But of course we live in a world where controversy and sensationalism sells, and obviously everyone has done business with my news.” But I'm really happy because this break has opened doors for me in my life, and one of them is the blessing of being able to build these motorcycles,” said Carlos Efrén Reyes.

One of the most striking aspects is the price. “It is a motorcycle that is accessible to all audiences and that anyone can buy. It is not an expensive motorboat. It costs about $3,700. The actor shared how involved he was in the design. “I did it my way. I gave him my name,” said the voice of the hit Pasa_je_ro. “The Carbon Armor brand means carbon armor. “People know that I have my record label Carbon Fiber Music,” he added, stating that it took him about a year and a half to complete the project. “I added some accessories, took some things away and changed them for better quality.”

Farruko expressed interest in launching new models. “I plan it. I have a special fondness for this one because it was the first, so I want to keep it in this limited edition of 800 pieces because I know that it will increase in value when it is used up and that it will be available to the people who If you bought it, it's fine because it's an investment to have it because there's no one else like that anymore.”

Although he loves motorsports, he admitted that he has experienced some setbacks. “I have had my downfalls and my fears, like everyone else, and I believe that life is the same. I compare riding a motorcycle to life. Anything you do too much and out of use can have consequences and if you don't use protection, if you're not aware, like anything, accidents happen. You can do it well and be in the most inappropriate place and time for the moment, and it was your turn and it is a process that you have to go through in your life.”

Live with great peace

Since your spiritual conversion, you have repeatedly spoken about the fullness in which you live. What benefits has your transformation brought you that the artistic life did not bring you before?

“If we act economically, I don’t have any. It's been hard for me since I made the decision, but if we get into what peace is, what wisdom is, what understanding is, what courage is, the things that really have no price but value, then I'm a millionaire become , in things that have value and no price, because my life has completely changed as the people who were by my side for some kind of advantage or position have left the ship because they already know that Farruko is not on the same path and they cannot get the same advantage. On the other hand, dealing with people, dealing with myself, the value that I give myself today that I may not have given myself in the search for acceptance. Are many things. “It was the best deal and the best contract I signed with God in my life.”

But on a business level, you have achieved many successes throughout your career.

“In this case, I knew how to diversify, but if I'm honest I was in a difficult time because you live a very upscale lifestyle and the bills keep paying. So my career was stunted by the sensationalism and the news that was coming out because a lot of people stopped hiring me because they said, “He comes to preach, he doesn't come to sing, we're not going to give him that anymore.” “I've paid him before.” “Or simply: “We won't hire him because people will leave.” For example, other brands I've done business with have distanced themselves, in order not to divide their audience and have the masses and they think that the atheist will not consume it because one said he is a Christian or the one who has a different belief. “He won’t consume it, or someone who sees things differently won’t consume his product, which means I can’t represent his product.”

The singer expressed that further challenges arose. “The same thing happened to me with my record company. “We signed an artist who we were used to giving us music, not so much commercial music, but controversial music,” do you understand me? This is the music that sells today. So: “Since he doesn’t want to give us any more controversial music, it’s not a deal.” I had to pay the whole price. In reality, I paid for it with a smile on my face and satisfaction because it opened my eyes to where I am, where my goal is, that I have now found it and I hope that other colleagues have this opportunity can, let's say, not to get into religiosity, but to raise your consciousness and deepen your relationship with our Creator, who is God, to find that peace, because it is a very difficult industry in which Today, if you are not controversial, you are not controversial. You lack morals. “You don’t go viral, your music and your art aren’t visible.”

When addressing the issue of religious belief, Farruko strongly distanced himself from an extremist stance in this regard. “Many people make mistakes and fall into religiosity and fanaticism. There are people who convert and as soon as they feel a little acceptance in the religious community, they lose their way. This is just as dangerous as being in the world. It's an extreme. You have to be very careful and have a lot of identity not to get lost in a community, in a temple.”

You have shared that you are working on a mixed album with Christian themes and not others.

“It's right. Music is art, it's a form of expression, and you don't necessarily have to make music that only caters to some people's tastes. I believe that God shouldn't be mentioned in all songs. You don't have to be in every song mention that you are a Christian, because (being a Christian) is an action that must come from you as a person.”

The singer revealed that he is targeting the release for early 2024 with a repertoire of around 15 songs.
