(CNN Spanish) ––Actor, producer and film director Fernando Almada has died at the age of 96, a representative of the National Association of Actors of Mexico told CNN on Monday, citing the actor’s son.
In a statement published on the social network X, formerly Twitter, the club expressed its “condolences to his family, friends and colleagues”.
Along with his brother Mario, who died in 2016, Almada is considered one of the icons of Mexican action cinema. He appeared in more than 100 films.
Almada excelled as an actor and also wrote, produced and directed some films.
