Fofão reappears at SBT and causes fear

the unforgettable fluffa character made immortal by Pessini orival (19442016), is honored on Children’s Day at SBT. As part of the Silvio Santos program, the channel produced special hidden cameras that bring the child character back to the small screen. Fofão, scheduled to air next Sunday (16th), will appear in the form of a Muppet, a kind of puppet, with the aim of playing a game with children to celebrate their day.

In the picture, several boys and girls are participating in the game, thinking that they would be visiting a space laboratory with a scientist (Kan Kan) as their host. Eventually they find a telescope and see outer space and planets, including a new celestial body, Fofolandia, which the character is from as it is believed to be of extraterrestrial origin.

After being left alone in space, the children are terrified when Fofão comes to life and interacts with them. At a certain moment, the character “falls” into the scenario and teaches the boys and girls how to do magic, bewitching everyone. For the new version of the doll manipulated by André Milano, it was built entirely by SBT.

The channel had to ask permission of Álvaro Gomes, one of the owners of the Fofão brand and partner of Orival Pessini, its creator, to use the character in the tribute. The special hidden camera will be broadcast this Sunday (16th) as part of the Silvio Santos program.

Founded 40 years ago by Orival Pessini alongside Turma do Balão Mágico, Fofão left the group years later to pursue a solo career. In addition to appearing with the character in several SBT and Telethon programs, the actor also played Patropi and Juvenal in Praça é Nossa and participated in A Escolinha do Golias. The artist’s last appearance as a sweetie was precisely in the Silvio Santos program in 2016, before he died of splenic cancer.
