Francesco Salvi and his successes as a singer
Comedian and cabaret artist Francesco Salvi became very popular with television audiences in the 1980s for his role in “Drive In”. In the autumn of 1988 he was entrusted with a program of which he is the creator, author and performer, “Megasalvishow”, broadcast late at night on Italia 1 short sketches. The title song is “There is a car to move”, interpreted by Salvi himself. The success is so great that the single reaches number 1 in the overall ranking. From there Francesco Salvi’s career as a singer was also born, with pieces always written by him with irony and intelligence (to confirm the quality of his writing, Mina had a piece written, “Bachelite”, which he included on the album “ Uiallalla”). Eight albums, of which “Megasalvi” is the first, and three participations in the Sanremo Festival, 1989 with “Esatto”, 1990 with “A” and 1994 with “Statènto”.
