Georgia Steel's mother has opened up about her daughter's love life, saying the reality star is “on guard” after being cheated on.
The 25-year-old Love Island contestant is currently back in the villa for the All Stars series after first appearing on the ITV2 show in 2018.
Her mother, Sharon, explained that Georgia has “matured a lot” since the show, in part because of her negative experiences.
The reality star was left “devastated” after her cheater ex-boyfriend Medi Abalimba cheated him out of thousands of pounds.
Georgia was just 21 when she met Medi while he was posing as US government agent “Miguel Johnson” at a London nightclub in April 2019.

Her mother Sharon explained that Georgia had “matured a lot” in part because of her negative experiences since the show (pictured together in 2018).
The fraudster was once a promising £1.2million footballer but later turned to crime to fund his lifestyle when his sporting career ended.
Medi was only released from prison for a year when he set his sights on Georgia and the pair dated for six weeks until a paparazzi shot of the pair led to her manager discovering that he was actually a convicted fraudster.
However, by this point Medi had already spent around £32,000 on Georgia's credit cards, which left her physically ill.
Speaking about how the ordeal had changed her, Sharon told OK! Magazine: “Georgia has really found herself in the last few years and has matured enormously.” Unfortunately, the experiences she had weren't the best, especially with the cheater.
“All of this has caused her to grow up a lot, maybe even too quickly.” The betrayal has shaken her trust in people. She is very cautious and has not really been able to trust anyone since then.
“That's not a bad thing because it builds character and means she won't let something like that happen again.” But it's also a shame to worry about who you can trust. She's on guard.'
Sharon also revealed what she thinks about Georgia's romantic interests in the villa and confessed who she wants to end up with.
The beauty is currently in a love triangle with Tom Clare and Callum Jones after breaking up with her former partner Toby Aromolaran.

Sharon said she hoped Georgia wouldn't go back to Toby because he was a “little Jack The Lad” and admitted she was surprised Georgia was so pleased to see Tom come in.
Sharon gave her two cents and said: “If I ignore Tom, I would choose Callum for Georgia.” I think he's very relaxed and genuine, which she is too. I think he seems like a really nice guy.'
She added that Georgia's brother was also a fan of Callum, which she said was “rare”, but deep down she feared her daughter was afraid Callum would go back to his ex Molly Smith.
However, when asked who would like to bring in Georgia as a bombshell, Sharon revealed: “She would love it if Ovie Soko was there. He's so laid back and I think they would get along really well.” I also feel like they have something in common because Georgia likes her fashion and high-quality clothes that Ovie models.”
Georgia's head is currently spinning as she continues to make romantic confessions to both Callum and Tom.
After a game of truth or dare with their fellow islanders during Friday's episode, Georgia and Tom held their own private version by the fire pit.
Tom didn't hold back when he asked Georgia: “Would you rather be with Callum or me?”
Admitting that she would rather be with Tom, she replied: “I think my impulse would be with you because I think there's a connection that we share.”
Sharon also revealed what she thinks about Georgia's romantic interests in the villa and confessed who she thinks she should end up with as she is currently in a love triangle with Tom Clare and Callum Jones (pictured with Tom).
Sharon gave her two cents and said that she and Georgia's brother would both choose Callum, saying that “he comes across as a really nice guy” (pictured with Georgia).
She leaned forward so only Tom could hear and whispered, “I like you the most.”
Georgia and Tom's flirtation was interrupted by a text message when Georgia revealed to Harrison that the Hideaway was open to a couple.
The islanders immediately picked Callum and Georgia as the first couple to spend a night alone in the hidden retreat.
Things got hot and steamy between the two as they explored their connection in the ultimate romantic setting.
Although she had told Tom earlier in the evening that she was most attracted to him, her feelings seemed to change when she later confided in Callum and told him, “That's so good.” Guess what, Cal? Honestly, I don't want to be in here with anyone else.'
However, when asked who Georgia would like to see as a bombshell, Sharon revealed that she would love it if Ovie Soko was there (Ovie pictured in 2019).
The next morning, Georgia asked Tom to chat on the terrace, saying she couldn't help the fact that she fancied him and she couldn't imagine having sex with Callum.
She only made things more complicated during Monday's Make-out, Marry, Cake game, where she brazenly chose Tom to marry.
She said: “I'm going to marry Tom because I think he's lovely, his morals are really good and I think you'd make a wonderful husband.”
However, she also chose to kiss Callum, saying: “I decided to kiss Cal because I really, really like him.” I think he's super wise and I feel like he's the complete package .”
