O Golden Globes 2024 has released the list of nominees today, but one question still remains: who will be the host (or hosts) of the big night? According to CNN, some names have already been considered and refused to carry out the mission.
According to the vehicle Chris Rock (Fargo) and Ali Wong (Treta) were individually asked to moderate and both declined. In addition to them, a trio of Will Arnett (BoJack Horseman), Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) and Jason Bateman (Ozark), but the three of them would have passed the mission.
When contacted by CNN, representatives for the five artists did not comment on the investigation. But producers told THR, a website run by the company that now organizes the Golden Globes, that the awards were aiming for a “positive” tone, even as they dodged questions about possible presenters.
“Positivity is always the tone for us,” he said Ricky Kirshner. “Being the first on the ground during awards season with all these stars, we have to be optimistic. Everyone will come together for the first time. We need to celebrate everyone’s success.”
