The desire to travel appears unabated, with even more people in key source markets planning a winter vacation in Austria than at the same time last year. It is correspondingly difficult to make a forecast for this year, said State Secretary for Tourism Susanne Kraus-Winkler (ÖVP) when presenting a study in which the winter potential for Austria’s tourism in the most important markets was researched.
