Former actor and pastor Guilherme de Pádua, murderer of actress Daniella Perez, died on Sunday (6.11.2022) at the age of 53 of a heart attack. The information was released by Pastor Márcio Valadão of the Lagoinha Baptist Church in Minas Gerais.
In a live on Instagram, Valadão said that Guilherme died at home. “Just before 10:00 p.m. I received a call from a sister who was talking about one of our pastors who had just passed away. For me it was a very big impact because I was leading the service this morning and he was sitting in the first pew with his wife,” he said.
“He committed this horrific crime with Daniella Perez, was arrested, served his sentence and converted. He was in the house, fell and died. He just died,” Valadão added.
According to the pastor, Padua led the “Recomeço” ministry at IBL and cared for exconvicts. “Society doesn’t understand things very much, he committed this crime against Daniella Perez but he converted in prison. It became so well known. Did that crap so many years ago [sic]. He was arrested and served his entire sentence. He converted in prison. He has been with us for 15 years. It went from a caterpillar to a butterfly.”

DANIELLA PEREZ
In 1992, actress Daniella Perez, 22, was dating Guilherme de Pádua, who was the same age, on the TV Globo soap opera De Corpo e Alma.
Daniella left the studio where she was recording the soap opera in Rio on December 28, followed by Pádua. Hours later, she was found dead in a vacant lot in Barra da Tijuca. He had 16 puncture wounds on his chest and neck. Coroners claimed the crime scene had elements of satanic rituals.
The next morning, police identified Padua as the perpetrator of the murder, since a witness had noted his car’s license plate number.
Daniella was the daughter of writer Glória Perez and wife of actor Raul Gazella.
