Colombia’s Historic Pact Coalition Presidential Candidate Gustavo Petro
BOGOTA, May 22 (RHC) The candidate for the Colombian presidency for the Historic Pact Coalition, Gustavo Petro, retains an advantage over the rest of the candidates a little more than a week before the elections, a poll by the Latin American Strategic Center for Geopolitics has found. .
According to the study, Petro has a voting intention of 48 percent and when asked who thinks who will be the next president, 53.2 percent answered that he would be the candidate of the alternative, progressive and left-wing forces in Colombia.
The competing factions in this campaign are celebrating the conclusion of the campaign this weekend ahead of the May 29 election.
