The team vowed on Tuesday that the 75-minute show would be “highly acrobatic”, cheerful and generous, in short like the famous Sainte-Flanelle number 10, who died on April 22, 2022 at the age of 70.
29 artists take turns on stage to touch the audience and the soundtrack will include hits from the repertoire of Boule noire, Gerry Boulet, Loco Locass and Gilles Valiquette, alongside hits from the 1970s to the present day, creating an original musical creation. Musical director and responsible for the arrangements is Philippe Brault. There will also be a multi-instrumentalist on stage and audio archives will allow you to travel back in time.
“With ‘GUY! GUY! GUY!” we want to touch the hearts of Quebecers who, with one voice and with the same unifying dynamic, sang, sang, applauded the exploits and highlights of this hockey genius,” said Creative Director Daniel Ross.
