(CNN) – Not that Goop is for sale, but founder Gwyneth Paltrow has a plan in case that day comes.
In an interview with Bustle to promote her new skincare line, good.clean.goop, the actress and businesswoman spoke about her “disappearance” more than once.
After discussing how she felt about turning 50, the interviewer suggested that Paltrow might be “the person to show us all how to reach our 70s and 80s with dignity.”
“I’ll probably give it a try, knowing me. Or I could say, ‘Fuck it,'” Paltrow joked. “I could disappear and no one will ever see me again.”
His disappearance from the public eye came up again in the interview when he was asked, “So who’s going to buy Goop and make you hundreds of millions of dollars?”
“I have no idea. We’re not ready to sell yet. “I need a few more years,” Paltrow replied.
When the author suggested that the star could “make a dramatic exit for her 55th birthday,” Paltrow said she “would be happy with that.”
“I will literally disappear from public life,” he said. “No one will ever see me again.”
We’ll let you decide if Paltrow was serious or just joking.
