Edinburgh – Humza Yousaf becomes the new Prime Minister of Scotland. The Scottish National Party (SNP) named the 37-year-old former president on Monday to succeed Nicola Sturgeon, who announced his resignation in mid-February after eight years in office. With Yousaf, the favorite won not only the post of Prime Minister of Scotland, but also the presidency of the party.
