In an interview with Collider, Henry Cavill talked about the possibility of his Sherlock Holmes in ‘Enola Holmes‘ win their own spinoff film.
“We have several options. But I think it’s important to be able to give your all in each of the characters that I play. And as we know, I’m very busy. My schedule is pretty full. But I would like to. It’s just a matter of time before I adjust my schedule,” he said.
Cavill recently commented on the professionalism and fantastic energy of Millie Bobby Brownwho plays the title character, said he has a desire to “make things right” in the sequel.
“It’s important to do things right. It’s important to make sure the tone of things doesn’t get lost in the hype surrounding franchises and universes. It’s always so hard to tell where things are going and what’s going to happen. I have experience with franchises that go places and stay quiet and other franchises that pop up and get exciting. It’s about making decisions and what else goes with it. I’m just a wage laborer,” he said.

Millie Bobby Brown returns as Enola Holmes.
Helena Bonham Carter will reprise her role as Eudoria Holmes, mother of the title character. The rest of the cast includes Susan Wokoma, David Thewlis, Adel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan Brewster, Abbie Hern, Hannah Dodd, Gabriel Tierney and Serrana Suling bliss.
Harry Bradbeer back in the direction and Jack Thornewhoever wrote the first will write the sequel.
The film is based on the book series by Nancy Springer “The Mysteries of Enola Holmes‘, which consists of six books. The first and fifth books in the series were nominated for Edgar Awards in 2007 and 2010, respectively.
It is estimated that the first film was seen by 76 million viewers in the first 28 days.
Acclaimed by critics,’Enola Holmes‘ received an approval rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes and has already become one of the week’s mostwatched productions Netflix.
