However, since there is no direct armed conflict, it is very difficult to say which country has the strongest army. For this reason, the Global Firepower website compiles a list of countries each year, classifying them according to their military strength.
Several factors are considered when presenting this ranking, including number of soldiers, equipment, vehicles, logistical capabilities, financial resources, and geographic location.
By analyzing about ten items, the site assigns each country a value called “PowerIndex.” A perfect military power, if it existed, would receive a PowerInder of 0. The higher the value, the weaker the country’s military strength is estimated to be.
