Since stepping down as presenter at TVA in June 2022, Pierre Bruneau has been a sought-after retiree.

“I go to On va se le dire and am also asked on the radio. I engage in activities that I couldn't do before and that I now feel like doing, as long as it doesn't involve news or information. When I retired, I realized that it was better to leave by expressing my request than to wait to be asked to leave! Now I'm being asked to do something else! I give conferences on leadership and fundamentals. “I meet a lot of journalism and communications students,” he told us when we met him recently. How does he assess the morale of students at a time when the media is going through a major crisis? “They are a little weakened, but at the same time they have the same dream, the same hope that I had when I started my career.” He is also planning a trip to the Rocky Mountains, Western Canada and later this year with his wife Ginette to Norway.
