In a press release, a Wolverines representative said the 20-year-old was no longer part of the team because he “violated team rules.” The Plymouth native was set to begin a second season in the NCAA.

Ann Arbor police released video in August of the incident, which occurred in broad daylight at the Jewish Resource Center. Two young adults spray-painted homophobic slurs and anti-Semitic logos, including swastikas, onto the field.

According to CBS, Druskinis and his friend, a young woman who was supposed to be part of the university’s lacrosse team, were drunk at the time of the events.

The defensive guard played just eight games for the University of Michigan in 2022-23, collecting two assists.
