Joyce Randolph has died at the age of 99.

The actress, who played Trixie Norton on the TV show The Honeymooners, died in her sleep in New York City on Saturday, her son told TMZ on Sunday.

The star is in hospice because she is suffering from the effects of old age, it said.

She played one of the main characters in the popular sitcom The Honeymooners, which aired from 1955 to 1956.

The focus of the show was Jackie Gleason's tough New York City bus driver Ralph Kramden, who constantly yelled at his wife Alice, played by Audrey Meadows.

But he also had an optimistic side.

They lived in an apartment building in Brooklyn near Trixie and her husband Ed Norton, played by comedian Art Carney.
