The bodies of five people were found in an apartment on Christmas Eve MeauxNorth of France. The investigators have opened an investigation into intentional homicide, as prosecutor Jean-Baptiste Bladier confirmed. According to local media, they are the victims a woman and her four children. The alleged suspect is said to be the father of the family, a 33-year-old man who is currently on the run. The investigation was entrusted to the Versailles criminal investigation department.
Child murders, the precedents of recent months in France This would be another multiple infanticide committed by a father in the last three months in Ile-de-France, in the Paris region. At the end of November, a 41-year-old man went to a police station to confess to the murder of his three daughters, aged between 4 and 11, in Alfortville, Val de Marne. A month earlier, a gendarme killed his three daughters and then committed suicide in his home in Vemars in the Oise Valley.
