On November 7th the 3 mile parade begins at 12pm on Preston Street and Smith Street down to Tuam Street and Smith Street.

“The fans support us. And to see that place erupt was spectacular,” Astros owner Jim Crane said of Saturday’s win. “Have a safe day and enjoy the championship.”

Arrival to the parade

City officials are encouraging attendees to arrive early and use ridesharing, Houston METRO, or even carpooling.

To reduce traffic jams in and around the city center, METRO is free all day on Mondays.

Officials are urging people to pack drinks and water as a warmer day is forecast for Monday.

“Please use METRO tomorrow. I ask everyone to show their best side. Show off the best of what this city has to offer. It’s our turn to be thankful and celebrate,” said Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner.

Carpooling:

  • Roast Square Memorial Park
  • Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart

You can check the parade schedule and ride sharing opportunities on the METRO website.
