Sometimes it is interesting and useful to reinstall Windows. The company can solve problems, improve performance and optimize the responsiveness of its PC. In fact, this operating system gets “dirty” over time, and even if cleaning with tools is possible, it’s never perfect.
The process requires having two things on hand: an installation media and a product key to proceed with activation. Microsoft offers free download of ISOs of various supported Windows versions. These are verified and safe sources from legal and totally safe links and methods.
How can I restore the Windows 11 and 10 installation ISOs?
Microsoft offers a media creation tool for Windows 10 and 11. It automates several processes including creating installation media (USB stick or DVD). The latter then allows you to reinstall or reinstall the operating system.
To create such media, the media creation tool must be downloaded and then run. Once the terms of the software license agreement have been accepted, you will need to choose between the options
- Upgrade this PC now
- Create installation media (USB stick, DVD or ISO file) for another PC.
You will then be asked to select the language, the Windows edition and then the architecture (e.g. 64 bit). Finally, the utility will ask you to either create an installation flash disk (capacity at least 8GB) or download the ISO file directly to the PC. In the latter case, third-party software such as Rufus is required to burn it or create an installation USB stick.
With Rufus you can install Windows 11 on all PCs, even those that are not suitable for it
