Howard Donald returned to the stage with Take That at the 2023 BST Hyde Park Festival in London on Saturday after being banned from Nottingham Pride last month for liking a series of transphobic and homophobic tweets.

Singer Howard, 55, took the stage alongside bandmates Gary Barlow, 52, and Mark Owen, 51, as they headlined the event in the British capital, on the same day the city hosted Price in London .

Howard looked stylish in an orange suit for his appearance, with the star sporting a white T-shirt under his jacket.

He wore matching wide-bottomed pants and opted for a comfy pair of white trainers.

He wore an immaculate white jacket which he paired with a matching top and trousers of the same color.

Meanwhile, Mark wore a fur coat, which he combined with a light blue shirt.

Underneath the shirt, he wore a white t-shirt that matched his white pants for the gig.

This comes after Howard said in a submissive apology that he was “disappointed” in himself after liking the transphobic and homophobic tweets.

The musician was set to headline LGBTIQA festival Groovebox this month alongside the likes of Horse Meat Disco, Essel and Sam Sax.

Howard’s performance at the event was condemned by fans, who took notice of his recent activity online – his Twitter account has since been deleted following the backlash.

Nottingham Pride officials announced the news in a statement, saying: “In light of recent events, Howard Donald will no longer be performing at our Nottingham Pride festival on Saturday 29 July at Binks Yard.”

“We would like to thank the public for bringing the situation to our attention this morning and also appreciate your patience while we spoke to the relevant parties.”

Sharing his own statement on Instagram, Howard wrote,

They continued, “The Groovebox team stands in solidarity with the broader LGBTQ+ community. We believe that every person has the right to be their authentic true self, without fear of persecution and hatred.”

“We are working towards confirming a replacement headliner alongside Horse Meat Disco, Tayce, Danny Beard and ESSEL for Nottingham Pride and will be making an announcement in due course.”

Sharing his own statement on Instagram, Howard wrote, “I made a huge mistake in my judgment liking social media posts that are derogatory towards the LGBTQIA+ community and I am deeply sorry and I know that I let everyone down.”

“I’m really disappointed in myself and I’m sorry for the damage I’ve caused by my ignorant actions. I obviously still have a lot to learn and it is a priority for me to do it.”

Before his account was deleted, Howard liked tweets like, “Only women get their periods!” Men can’t menstruate. According to PinkNews, transgender “women” cannot menstruate.

Howard also liked a tweet from Turning Point UK founder Charlie Kirk, in which he called for Disney to cut funding for holding a Pride concert.

Other tweets contained anti-vax messages and conspiracies.

She opted for khaki green cargo pants and wore lots of makeup to emphasize her pretty features.

Siobhán was closely followed by bandmate Mutya, 38, who wore a beige and gray camouflage jacket and matching cargo pants.

She opted for a gray top with a plunging neckline, which showed off her body art on her chest.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star wore her long, dyed blonde hair straight for her performance.

Keisha, 38, meanwhile, wore a green wrap-detail bra top underneath a black cropped jacket.

She wore beige cargo pants to complete her look for the trio’s performance in the British capital.
