The Israel Defense Forces announced on Sunday the 3rd that the Israeli military had discovered this more than 800 tunnel entrances Hamas in the Gaza Strip since the ground offensive began at the end of October.
According to the IDF, for example 500 of these wells were destroyed. Many of them linked the terrorist group’s “strategic assets.”
“The wells were located in civilian areas and many of them were near or within educational institutions. Kindergartens, mosques and playgrounds“, the IDF wrote on social media.
According to the Israeli military, Hamas weapons were found in many of these hideouts.
“These results are further evidence of how cynically the civilian population is used by the terrorist organization Hamas as a human shield and cover for its terrorist activities.”
