“If Ukraine falls, the whole of Europe will fall”: President Vladimir Zelensky’s call to Europeans

Vladimir Zelensky addresses the Europeans. In a brief intervention on television this Friday night, Ukraine’s president called on Europe to mobilize for the benefit of Ukrainians. “We need your support, please do not be silent, take to the streets,” he said.

“Support our struggle,” continued the president of Ukraine, which has been at war since the Russian invasion began on February 24. And to continue with the sense of image and communication that we now know about him: “This struggle is the victory of good over evil, this is the victory of freedom against what is happening in Ukraine. If Ukraine falls, the whole of Europe will fall, “he added.

A moment of silence for the killed civilians

Earlier, the former actor called on viewers to observe two minutes of silence. One for soldiers and volunteers, another for civilians killed in Russian bombing.

Vladimir Zelensky then concluded his brief address to the Europeans by raising his fist, as he did during his very moving speech to the European Parliament on 1 March.

Earlier in the day, the president accused Moscow of resorting to “nuclear terror” and wanting to “repeat” the Chernobyl disaster following the attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
