Marie-Josée and Julien are the favorite couple of the fourth season of the documentary reality If we loved each otherwhich is already halfway through the season.
The 48-year-old teacher and the 44-year-old carpenter will soon be living together under the same roof, a new stage in their promising start to their relationship.

Marie-Josée and Julien experience a lot of joy together, a happiness that can even be felt in our living rooms. They are lovable, complicit and true.
The two lovebirds followed the advice of relationship support expert Louise Sigouin and indulged in this adventure, respecting their partner’s own rhythm. They fell in love and are now a couple. It was touching and symbolic to see Marie-Josée give Julien a key to her house.
From the beginning there was “love at first sight” between the two, emphasized Louise Sigouin in an interview. She recalled that Julien had to “moderate his movements” so as not to frighten his admirer.

“Marie-Josée had to give up her old habits of sabotage. A temper like Julien’s would generally have gotten to her and she would have quickly lost interest. This time she was touched by Julien. The latter is said to always be “too” fast. Even if it’s love at first sight, they still work. Marie-Josée lets him into her privacy and changes her habits as a hardened bachelorette, while Julien curbs his enthusiasm. They exceed expectations and it is very touching to see how they succeed.”
The other couple we like to follow is that of the manager Frédérique, 54 years old, and the truck driving instructor Sylvain, 55 years old. They are also well on their way to overcoming the challenge of falling in love, even if certain reactions from Sylvain contribute to Frédérique’s doubts. Be continued.

“Sylvain quickly expressed his interest to Frédérique. She is very interested, but negotiates a bit with her fear of abandonment. She is moving forward with confidence and commitment and it is also very gratifying to see how hard they are working to break their romantic patterns,” Ms Sigouin said.
No romantic potential for Mélody
The project manager Mélody, 29, and the dispatcher Sam, 40, have a more difficult time because the young woman does not feel attracted to him and sees him as a friend. They had great discussions and activities, they get along well, but will they be able to live together and even complete their journey together on the show? In any case, Sam was patient, mature and generous. And watch out, in Monday’s episode he finally gets a haircut.

“Mélody still made the effort to switch to a new partner profile. As always, Sam finds himself attracted to a girl who isn’t really available. We try to create something together. It is certain that it is not the same situation when we look at Marie-Josée and Julien and Frédérique and Sylvain, but there is still a genuine interest in doing things differently. And that is not insignificant.”
And what about family educator Julie, 44, who lost her partner, businessman Alexandre, 45, along the way? Luckily, she has a new accomplice who completes the experience: firefighter Luc, 51 years old.
“Julie usually wore rose-colored glasses with Alexandre. They have still progressed well even though Alexandre left, which was done with respect. Luc is completely different. We will be able to see how Julie reacts with a different partner,” Ms. Sigouin concluded.
