Osher Günsberg has compared the smell of his young son's head to a “series of random drugs” in a bizarre new interview.
The 49-year-old Masked Singer Australia host, who has spoken openly about his past addiction struggles, made the strange analogy on the latest episode of The Good Enough Dad podcast with Maggie Dent.

Osher has previously spoken about his past struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues.
Despite being sober for over a decade, he recently told Body + Soul that he still has to be “so careful” every day.
“I pay attention to my contribution to what I watch, read and listen to, as well as the people I spend time with.” “I have to be very careful,” he said.

“I know I’m addicted. I'm an alcoholic. I don't have any addictive things in my house.
“I haven't owned a gaming console since 2008 because I know I'll get lost in one of these games,” he added.
Instead, The Masked Singer host makes it a priority to take care of his mental health, particularly making sure he gets enough “sleep and exercise.”
While Osher is now a family man who prefers to spend his time at home with his wife Audrey Griffen and four-year-old son Wolfie, his drinking was previously so heavy that he barely remembers filming three seasons of Australian Idol.
Osher told Now To Love: “I did it, I was there, I remember parts of it… but I basically don't remember seasons two, three and four.”
The father-of-one admitted he doesn't recognize himself when he watches old Idol material from his Andrew G days.

“Life was very different for me, I drank a lot. “But the type of man I was then is very different to the man I am today.”
Osher had his last drink in 2010.
In 2012, he changed his name from Andrew G to Osher Günsberg after meeting a shaman in Tel Aviv three years earlier who told him about the “power of a name.”
