International cooperation in the spotlight: Slovenia and Ukraine on the podium of the 12th International Constantinus Awards 2023 news.wko.at

This year’s 12th International Constantinus Awards, held on October 12 in Amman, Jordan, focused on innovative projects in management consultancy and IT developed in a world marked by global challenges. The internationally recognized award is organized annually by the International Council of Management Consulting Institute (ICMCI) and aims to highlight innovative consulting projects. This year, a total of 25 showcase projects from eleven countries were registered – including Brazil, Canada, China and Austria.

Catalyst for international cooperation

Alfred Harl, initiator of the International Constantinus Prize, underlines the importance of this international prize: “The prize illustrates how strong cooperation between consulting firms and client companies across national borders can lead to extraordinary achievements.” In view of the geopolitical situation, including in Ukraine and Israel, for Harl the Constantinus International is a catalyst for the international cooperation that is so important today: “Especially in times of global uncertainty, innovative strength and problem-solving skills that feature such projects help companies and communities overcome challenges meet internationally. This promotes stability and security.”

Gold and silver for Slovenia, silver for Ukraine

This year there are two projects from Slovenia and one from Ukraine on the podium. The 2023 gold medal goes to a project by the company Inkubator doo Sezana from Slovenia, for the client EBN (European Business and Innovation Center Network). The initial program included the implementation of a business school for people with hearing impairments. A second project from Slovenia was in the top 3 and received silver: the company QUANTUM Consulting managed to score points with a project for the Salonit Anhovo dd cement factory, which aims to improve maintenance processes. The second silver medal goes to CMC-Ukraine, for a project for the German Society for International Cooperation GmbH. This included the uberization of emergency counseling services during a war. Austrian company, eee Austria International Projects GmbH, won the coveted Country Winner award by implementing a tourism and carpentry school for the Indonesian Ministry of Labor.
