Ioan Gruffudd’s recent public appearance had a celebratory atmosphere as the actor snapped in Spain after a bitter tug of war with ex-wife Alice Evans over custody of their two daughters.
The Welsh actor was joined by his girlfriend Bianca Wallace during a Mediterranean cruise on Tuesday, whose movements were documented in a series of Instagram posts.
Wallace, 31, shared a handful of pictures and videos and posed in a black bikini before trying her hand at paddling while her yacht sailed near the Spanish coast.
Captioning the posts, she wrote, ‘A perfect day in even better company!’ It doesn’t get much better than that.’
Gruffudd, 49, who is rarely seen on social media, was also spotted after snapping a selfie with his girlfriend, an actress, in which he flashed a beaming grin.

The actor had a good laugh after a Los Angeles judge granted his request to appoint a child psychiatrist to guide his increasingly hostile rows with ex-Evans surrounding 13-year-old Ella and nine-year-old Elsie.
Evans, 55, had vehemently opposed the appointment of a “care assessor” and said it was not necessary. He claimed Gruffudd hadn’t seen or called the girls for nearly three months and denied his allegations that she “abused” her daughters, thereby causing “abuse” to them “serious emotional damage.”
But after a hearing Thursday, which neither Gruffudd nor Evans attended, LA Superior Court Judge Josh Freeman Stinn issued a brief order that said, “Plaintiff’s (Gruffudd) motion for the appointment of a custody assessor is granted .”
The judge’s ruling came after Gruffudd filed a new 34-page written document – found by – in which he blasted Evans and accused her of calling daughter Ella a “fucking bitch” and telling the teenager that she would be I’m getting a new father soon.’
Evans’ recent statements opposing the appraiser and criticizing her ex were “false or grossly misleading,” Gruffudd said in his new statement to the court.
“The circumstances with our daughters Ella and Elsie and my relationship with them are not what Alice describes.”
“Alice has stated in her own words in multiple posts on social media that I have been trying to get at least 50/50 custody of Ella and Elsie and that she doesn’t want to and/or is actively working to prevent it .”
“I believe it is imperative that a special reviewer be appointed at the August 17 hearing to avoid further and potentially significant delays in initiating this important process.”

Gruffudd pointed out that although “Alice argues that a custody review is not necessary,” the girls’ court-appointed attorney and their most recent therapist both support the appointment of an expert witness.
And he added, the therapist wrote: “I think it would be in your daughters best interest for Elsie to continue psychotherapy with me and for Ella to be evaluated by a child psychiatrist.”
Gruffudd expressed concern that Evans took Elsie from a school she had been in since kindergarten and transferred her to a new school, defying a court order saying she could not attend the children’s school without change his consent. “I didn’t agree,” he said.
Gruffudd reiterated the “serious emotional damage” Evans believes is causing her daughters, continuing, “Alice verbally abused, abused and threatened me on a regular basis throughout our marriage and after the breakup, often in the presence of Ella and/or.” Elsie.”

“I believe witnessing this behavior was unhealthy and distressing for the girls, and I believe Alice’s behavior was abusive not only for me but also for the girls.”
Gruffudd – now with girlfriend Bianca Wallace, 31 – recounted an incident on Ella’s 11th birthday when “Elsie sent me a video of Ella arguing with Alice.” Ella said she was upset that Alice broke her promise not to drink alcohol and begged Alice to stop bringing me up in every conversation.
“Alice yelled at Ella, calling her a ‘fucking bitch’ and Ella yelled at Alice, ‘Just be a mom!'”
He added, “[Alice]has made thousands of derogatory, abusive and threatening posts about me since we broke up.”
Evans has denied all of her ex’s “abuse allegations” and has not yet responded to Judge Freeman Stinn’s new ruling against her.
Gruffudd – who met Evans when they starred in the 2000 Disney film 101 Dalmatians – filed for divorce in March 2021, shortly after the blonde actress claimed on social media that her husband of 14 years was dying been married for a long time, she would leave two daughters.
Their divorce only became final last month. But the issues of spousal and child support and custody have yet to be resolved.
