Israeli forces reported attacks on several Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon, including military sites and a rocket launcher. According to the Times of Israel, the attacks came after several rockets were fired from Lebanon toward northern Israel in recent hours. Hezbollah had previously carried out an explosive drone attack. The IDF said it responded with artillery fire at the locations where the shootings occurred. In addition, Israeli forces said troops attacked two identified suspects at a known Hezbollah rocket launch site in southern Lebanon.

Israel is not losing ground on the northern border, where Lebanese Hezbollah militias, agents of Iran, have fired rockets at a barracks in Shomera. Tel Aviv forces responded with an Apache helicopter and a drone, destroying a rocket launcher and killing three militiamen between Moshav Zar'it and Kibbutz Yir'on. The IDF also began “intensive training on the northern border to prepare soldiers for further scenarios in Lebanon.” Tehran's other allies, the Yemeni Houthis, have claimed responsibility for rocket attacks on two cargo ships belonging to the Italian-Swiss Mediterranean shipping company Alanya and Palatium en route to Israel. This is not just a move to support Hamas. For Yemeni Foreign Minister Ahmed Bin Mubarak, “the Houthis are taking advantage of the crisis in Gaza to gain popularity in the country,” divided by years of civil war.
