Israel responds to Palestinian resistance offensive with bombings

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza has risen to 232, with 1,697 injured.

Gaza’s Health Ministry accused Israeli forces of deliberately attacking medical staff and hospitals, killing three health workers, wounding three others and destroying five ambulances.

As of this morning, Israel’s airstrikes continue in the Gaza Strip and the firing of more than 3,000 rockets by Palestinian militias into Israeli territory, where hundreds of Gaza militia members are still fighting with Israeli forces at twenty points in Israel, according to an army spokesman.

In Gaza, thousands of civilians were evacuated from towns in the north of the Strip such as Beit Hanoun, Jabalia or Beit Lahia and, due to harsh conditions, fled to Gaza City to be housed in schools run by the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees. of confrontations.

According to Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip, at least five buildings have been destroyed by Israeli bombings in Gaza and hospitals are under a state of emergency due to the situation.

As of Saturday afternoon, nine deaths were documented at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, another five at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and two at Abu Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafa.

Meanwhile, an Israeli fighter jet attacked a residential building near the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City with a missile, injuring at least six civilians and causing severe damage to the attacked building and surrounding houses.

In addition, six Israeli rockets hit a site in the Ansar area west of Gaza City, completely destroying it and causing damage to adjacent residential buildings.

More than 100 people have died in Israel as a result of the Palestinian resistance’s surprise attack by land, sea and air from Gaza, and the number of injured exceeds 900, at a time when the war continues to escalate and the situation is overwhelming.

According to local media citing medical sources, the death toll in Israel since the offensive began early this morning has exceeded 100 and the number of injured stands at 908.

Already in the early hours of the morning, the resistance launched Operation Al-Aqsa Deluge, firing rockets at Israeli settlements.

The Al-Qassam Brigades captured several Israeli soldiers and settlers and took control of strategic points near Gaza.

Al-Qassam confirmed that the operation is proceeding as planned.

In retaliation, Israel launched a series of bombings in the strip after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured that the country was at war.

Mohammad Deif, commander-in-chief of the al-Qassam Brigades, announced the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Deluge following a rocket fire and an infiltration operation in settlements in the Gaza Strip.

The leader said the operation was in response to the Israeli occupation’s desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as the multiple attacks on women in its courtyards.

He added that the resistance fired more than 5,000 rockets and projectiles in the first phase of the attacks.
