Israel announced this Thursday (23) that it had attacked and destroyed part of the infrastructure used by Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. The country borders Israeli territory to the north and attacks are recorded in the region almost daily.

According to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), the offensive against terrorist targets was carried out by Israeli army fighter jets and helicopters.

A video posted on social media shows the moment a missile is fired, hitting a target and then a large explosion occurs.

According to the IDF spokesman, the offensive also shot down a drone remotely controlled by the terrorists and neutralized a site where antitank missiles were fired.

The group, which operates in Lebanese territory, is an ally of Hamas terrorists and has close ties with Iran.

The war in the region was triggered by Hamas’ terrorist campaign in which 1,200 people were massacred and 240 were kidnapped on October 7.

In response, the Israeli army carried out bombings in the Gaza Strip and has carried out land incursions with soldiers and armored vehicles since early November.

Hezbollah’s involvement in the conflict is a response to Israeli attacks on Hamas targets.
