Itati Cantoral opened her heart and pointed it out in an interview with Juan Soler, to whom she made strong statements about her ex-husbands After one of her divorces, she ended up hating her ex-partner.
The actress explained that she had this feeling after her split with Carlos Cruz, her second husband, but that it was thanks to her daughter, María Itatí, who managed to overcome it and is now a good friend of her ex-husband .
“Carlos Cruz is a great guy but always divorces, in my case I’m so visceral Obviously you get divorced and hate it, that’s why you got divorced. You say ‘I hate it, I don’t want to see it again’but suddenly a person comes out and tells you, ‘This person you hate, you loved her one day and he is my father, how are we going to solve this?’” he hinted.
Itatí Cantoral stated that she is now so good friends not only with Eduardo Santamarina, her first ex-husband, but also with Carlos Cruz, that her daughter’s school is questioning whether there will be a reconciliation.
“Thanks to this beautiful girl who is María Itatí, she taught me to rebuild that relationship with her father and now we’re best friends and now they’re asking us, ‘Are you coming back? He’s going to the school party and we saw them together.’ Yes we go to parties and we are friends for life… It’s difficult but you can have a quiet life and a life of peace for my daughter,” he commented.
The actress explained that not only did her daughter help her get through this phase in her life, she also became her best friend and accomplice in life.
“She’s a bombshell, she’s my best friend who I get manicures with, dye hair, straighten and everything… We fight all day. To her her father is Prince Charming so thanks to her I have the best ex-husband that could exist in this life,” he commented.
Would Itati Cantoral marry again?
After speaking out about her ex-husbands like never before and how she overcame hatred for one of them, Itatí Cantoral revealed if she still believes in marriage and if she wanted to marry again.
“Marriage to me is family, children, companionship, union, a choice… Yes, I would marry again because I believe in love. I don’t know if marriage is a legal or mystical institution, I don’t know if I would remarry before the law or the church, but I believe in the union of the couple, I believe that the couple can make a better person power,” he commented.
