The General Directorate of Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI), the Ivorian national television, has announced the suspension of three directors of this television channel following an incident that occurred on the television news at 1 p.m. (local time and GMT) on January 1st.
These are Ms. Habiba Dembélé Spouse Sahouet, director of information newspapers, Mr. Dalla Diabagaté, technical director and Mr. Cissé Inssa, director of television production.
“Following the incident on the television news at 1 p.m. on January 1, 2023, related to the rebroadcast of the speech of the Head of State on the occasion of the New Year celebrations and the pending investigation to determine the responsibilities, the management decides to suspend their post , the following hierarchical managers: Ms. Dembélé Habiba Marries Sahouet, director of information newspapers, Mr. Dalla Diabagaté, technical director and Mr. Cissé Inssa, director of television production”, reports an information note sent to RTI employees and consulted Monday by Abidjan.net.
According to the note, the interims of these suspended officials will be ensured by Mr. Koné Lanciné, director of information magazines for the management of the information newspapers and Mr. Koné Siriki, director of RTI 1 for the technical management and that of television production.
