James Cameron created a document to prove Jack and Rose weren’t a good match

It’s not just fans who have been walking around since 1997 wondering why Rose (Kate Winslet) has Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) on top of the door with her at the end titanic🇧🇷 The director JamesCameron thought a lot about it too so much so that he made a documentary about it.

In an interview with Postmedia [via NME]the filmmaker spoke about the production, which will continue to air National Geographic americana in February no arrival forecast here yet.

“We have conducted a scientific study that will disprove this theory once and for all. We called in a hypothermia expert and hired two people with the same body mass as Kate and Leo at the time and reconstructed the door used in the footage,” commented Cameron.

“We put sensors in their bodies and put them in ice water to test if they could have survived in different ways. The answer was always the same: it wasn’t possible. Only one could survive.” he added.

Released in 1997, Titanic followed lovers Rose and Jack on their voyage on the title ship, which sank in 1912. The film was a smash hit, grossing $2.2 billion at the worldwide box office and winning 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Picture Direction for Cameron.
