“Every day is a little better than before and he’s definitely making progress, but progress is slow.”

has reached out to Jeremy’s spokesman for further comment.

On New Year’s Day, Jeremy was run over by a seven-ton snow plow while helping his nephew remove his groom from the driveway of his residence near Reno, Nevada, after the vehicle became stuck in the snow.

However, his snowplow began sliding down a street after the car was towed, prompting the actor to jump from his cab.

After exiting the vehicle, Renner realized it could potentially hit his nephew, who was with him at the time of the incident. The Kingstown Mayor’s star then attempted to re-enter the snowplow to deflect his path, but he was pulled under the left side lane and run over during the attempt.

When a neighbor called 911, Jeremy could be heard agonizingly in the background. The caller feared he would bleed to death from his injuries.

He was flown to a hospital in Reno, where he was listed in critical condition with 30 broken bones, a crushed chest and a collapsed torso.

Though Jeremy is taking a step back from Hollywood following the accident, fans can still catch him on screen when he releases a four-part documentary series, Rennervations, on Disney+ in April.

Rennervations – which the star completed before the snowplow incident – describes Jeremy’s “lifelong passion for giving back to communities around the world by reinventing unique, purpose-built vehicles to meet the needs of a community.”

In the trailer, the Marvel film’s hero jokes that fans of his Avengers thought he was “out of control” because this project is so different from his previous work.

“I’m buying these decommissioned government vehicles to reinvent them so they can serve this community again in a different way,” Jeremy says of the project in the trailer.

“I decided to reinvent and renovate these vehicles and I wanted to do it for communities and help children around the world. There’s a lot of concern in the Avengers family chat, like, you know, what’s Renner doing? He’s getting a little off the rails.’

Despite not being able to promote Rennervations in the way he would like at the moment, Jeremy seems positive about his involvement in the future.

Jeremy has continued to update social media followers on his recovery and progress, which began when he took a selfie from his hospital bed in the ICU in the days after the accident.

‘Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too confused to type now. But I’m sending love to you all,” wrote the caption alongside a photo of Jeremy with bruises on his face.
