Actor Jeremy Renner, 51, recovers after being run over by his own snow plow when his home was covered in ice in Nevada, United States. The vehicle used is called a PistenBully from the German manufacturer Kässbohrer. It is a 2.90 m high, 6 m long and 5 m wide “monster”. In a statement to the US press, Sheriff Darin Balaam explained that the actor had an accident while trying to help a family member who had run aground with the machine. When Jeremy was with the other people (and the vehicle behind), the tractor started moving on its own and ran over his body.
Authorities confirm that it had snowed heavily in the past few days, leading to closures on some roads, 13 to 20 abandoned cars and houses inaccessible due to the snow. It was then that the actor tried to help his neighbors with his work equipment, and, unfortunately, tragedy struck.

The actor has already had two surgeries and is being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. He lost a lot of blood at the site, especially on the leg that was most affected.

He said he’s still processing everything he’s experienced, but has made sure to say thank you for the messages of support.
