João Guilherme Silva talks about his father Faustão’s heart transplant
Before Faustão underwent a heart transplant on the 27th, João Silva, the presenter’s son, saw his girlfriend Schynaider Moura experience the same horror with her daughter Anne Marie. The 14yearold also underwent a heart transplant in June last year. In a chat with gshow on the first day of The Town, João spoke about the coincidence and how Anne’s success story reassured him.

“Here I refer to the presence of God. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we started dating a year before Anne happened. It was somewhat reassuring for us to see a successful case. She told me, ‘Relax, everything will be okay.’ That really calmed me down,” he said.
João, who also works as a moderator, emphasized the importance of public mobilization for his father’s health: “For me, that’s everything. In these times we have seen how grateful we have to be to people, to prayers. Of course I imagined that. “It was a mobilization, but the way it happened was wonderful.”
“I think this played a big role in the success of his operation and also in increasing the number of organ donors. For me, this is our family’s life mission.”

In a video recently published on her networks, Anne, Schynaider’s daughter, talked about the change in her life after her transplant:
“I got a new chance to pursue my dreams, all because a family decided to say yes to me. It was a difficult, emotional process for me and my family. It changed the lives of everyone around me.”
